I have been in private practice in Colorado since 1996. In addition to my private practice, I worked with The Children's Hospital Eating Disorders Program for 13 years. My primary focus is on the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults and families. If needed, I can collaborate with parents, schools, medical providers and other mental health professionals to develop the most appropriate treatment plan for you and your family.
I am a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Colorado (CO. License #2284). I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond in 1987. I received my Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Denver, School of Professional Psychology, and completed my postdoctoral training at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
I am dedicated to providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. I assist my clients in reaching their goals by creating individual treatment plans based on their individual strengths. By working together in a safe and confidential environment, I am able to help my clients gain new skills and insights that help optimize their mental health and enhance their quality of life.
Additionally, I provide supervision to graduate students at the University of Denver’s School of Professional Psychology and regularly lecture to medical and mental health professionals, schools, students and parents in the greater Denver area. These lectures range from educating others about eating disorders, self-injurious behavior, depression, and anxiety, to the importance of helping children develop effective emotion regulation skills to help them meet the ever changing demands of life.Areas of Expertise
